• In the subject line of your email, please type: London Contest: [Author's Last Name]  Note: If you don’t identify your submission in this way, it may go directly to my spam folder. You don’t want me to miss it!

• In the body of your email, please include the following cover materials:
  • author’s full name, address, phone, and email
  • story title and word count
  • a short synopsis, including:
    • historical era of focus
    • name and description of narrator/tour guide
    • a one sentence résumé of the story
    • suggestions and/or examples of period art and/or artist(s) applicable to the story for possible future illustration (see www.timetravelertours.com for models).

• Attach your manuscript as a .doc or .docx file to the email message above. Note: no other file type will be accepted. Remember:
  • manuscripts must be double-spaced and include page number and author’s last name in the header of each page.
  • manuscripts must include a bibliography of researched sources.

• Examples of archival images that could be used to illustrate the story may be attached as well. Send only low-resolution jpegs or include hotlinks to suggested images within the MS.
